Michael Alpern, MD - 4684

Dr. Michael Alpern joined the John C. Lincoln Breast Health and Research Center on March 1, 2011. He moved to the Valley in 2010, having spent the prior 25 years residing in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Dr. Alpern was an assistant professor of radiology at the University of Michigan before joining the medical staff at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mich., where he was the director of body CT. He spent 13 years as a partner in Huron Valley Radiology, PC, where he became a core member of the breast imaging team. He served on the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Breast Advisory Committee and was a founding member of that institution's Multi-Disciplinary Breast Conference.

Dr. Alpern has expertise in digital mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and extensive experience in performing breast biopsies and pre-operative localizations using imaging guidance.

Daryl Beabeau, MD

Daryl Beabeau, MD - 4685

Dr. Beabeau received his medical degree from George Washington University and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at UCLA, Los Angeles, Calif. He has been of staff at John C. Lincoln North Mountain since 1981.

He has a particular interest in diagnostic trauma radiology, CT and CT coronary angiography and diagnostic sonography.

Kirk Bucon, MD

Kirk Bucon, MD - 4686

Dr. Bucon obtained his M.D. degree at USC College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Next, he completed an MRI Fellowship with Dr. Bill Bradley at Huntington Medical Research Institute.

His favorite areas of radiology include MRI, neuroradiology and musculoskeletal imaging. In his spare time, he loves mountain biking, snowboarding, as well as reading physics and higher-level math.

Bill Drobnes, MD

Bill Drobnes, MD - 4687

Dr. Drobnes received his medical degree and completed his internship at the University of Tours, France. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Tours, France, and at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He also completed a fellowship in medical imaging at the University of North Carolina.

Dr. Drobnes is certified by the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. He is on staff at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital and also provides services at the North Mountain, Tatum and Deer Valley outpatient imaging offices.

Howard Fleishon, MD

Howard Fleishon, MD - 4688

Dr. Fleishon completed medical school and radiology training in Philadelphia. He has been a board certified radiologist in the Valley since 1986 and has practiced at John C. Lincoln for more than 25 years.

Dr. Fleishon is a board member of the Arizona Medical Association, has held numerous positions in the Arizona Radiological Society including a term as president, and is an elected officer in the American College of Radiology.

He currently serves as the medical director of the Medical Imaging department and radiation safety officer at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital. Further, he serves as medical director at the outpatient imaging offices at John C. Lincoln Deer Valley and North Mountain Hospitals and the Tatum location.

Linda Greer, MD

Linda Greer, MD - 4689

Dr. Greer completed her medical school and residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is a board certified radiologist and is member of American College of Radiology, Society of Breast Imaging and American Cancer Society in Phoenix.

Dr. Greer also is a member of the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Hearing Board and the Arizona Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners, both of which are appointed by the Arizona governor.

Further, she is the current Medical Director of John C. Lincoln Breast Health and Research Center. Her areas of expertise include digital mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and biopsies.

John Mabry, MD

John Mabry, MD - 4690

Dr. Mabry completed his medical degree and residency at the University of Colorado. He has been on staff at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital since 1976.

Dr. Mabry is board certified in radiology and brings more than 44 years of diagnostic radiology experience to North Mountain Radiology Group. Throughout his career, he has been a member of the American College of Radiology, the Arizona Medical Association and the Arizona Radiology Society.

Phillip Moeser, MD

Phillip Moeser, MD - 4691

Dr. Moeser received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his radiology residency at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina. He followed this with a one year fellowship in MRI at Bowmen-Grey/Wake Forest School of Medicine.

Dr. Moeser is board certified in radiology and has practiced in the Valley since 1987. A member of the Radiologic Society of North America, American College of Radiology and American Roentgen Ray Society, he currently serves as medical director of the North Mountain Radiology Group.

His primary focus is on hospital-based, acute-care general radiology, with an emphasis on the cross-sectional imaging modalities of CT and MRI. He has a particular interest in 3-D applications of CT for non-invasive evaluation of vascular and musculoskeletal disease.

Zofia Nowicki, MD

Zofia Nowicki, MD - 4692

Dr. Nowicki completed medical school and a radiology residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed her fellowship in body MRI at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Nowicki is a member of the Radiologic Society of North America and the American College of Radiology. She received an Excellence in Medical Education Award from the University of Florida Department of Radiology.

Dr. Nowicki has been part of the North Mountain Radiology Group since 2009. Her interests include imaging of the abdomen and pelvis, with emphasis on MRI of the liver and pancreas.

Mike Nussdorfer, MD

Mike Nussdorfer, MD - 4693

Dr. Nussdorfer received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Mich., in 1988 and completed his residency in radiology at William Beaumont Hospital in 1992.

Nussdorfer is board certified by the American College of Radiology and is a member of the Radiology Society of North America.

He joined the North Mountain Medical Group and John C. Lincoln medical staff in July 2009. His special interests in emergency and trauma imaging stem from his previous experience in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Hedieh Saghari, MD

Hedieh Saghari, MD - 4694

Dr. Saghari received her medical degree in Tehran, completed her internship in Boston and radiology residency in Phoenix. She continued with obtaining two fellowships: in neuroradiology, at Barrow Neurological Institute, and in mammography, at Maricopa Medical Center.

Dr. Saghari is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and has Certification of Added Qualification in neuroradiology. She is a a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Society of Neuroradiology and The American Roentgen Ray Society.

Dr. Saghari has been with John C. Lincoln's Breast Health and Research Center since August 2010 and specializes in neuroradiology, digital mammography, MRI and breast biopsies.

Michael Sills, MD

Michael Sills, MD - 4695

Dr. Sills received his medical degree from the University of California-Davis, and completed his radiology residency at Presbyterian - St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver, Colo. He moved to Phoenix after completing a fellowship in thoracic radiology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Sills is board certified in diagnostic radiology. He has been on staff with the John C. Lincoln Hospital since 1999, and joined the North Mountain Radiology Group in 2008. His areas of special interest include chest imaging, non-vascular interventions, and mammography.

Austin Spitzer, MD

Austin Spitzer, MD - 4696

Dr. Spitzer received his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Colorado. He is board certified in radiology and is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society.

.After serving in the US Army from 1967 to 1971 Dr. Spitzer returned to the University of Colorado for his residency in diagnostic radiology from 1971 to 1974. In 1974 he moved to Phoenix and became a partner and later president of Valley Radiologists Ltd.

In 2007 he joined North Mountain Radiology Group. His areas of interest include ultrasound and MRI.

Peter Steinberg, MD

Peter Steinberg, MD - 4697

Dr. Steinberg received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed his residency in radiology at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He has been on staff at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital since 1991.

Dr. Steinberg is board certified in radiology and is a member of the American College of Radiology and Radiological Society of North America. His areas of interest include neuro and musculoskeletal MRI, and nuclear medicine.

H. James VanDolah, MD

H. James VanDolah, MD - 4698

Dr. VanDolah received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine at Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He completed his internship at Northwestern School of Medicine in Chicago, followed by two years serving in the U.S. Air Force as a flight surgeon. He completed his residency in radiology at Baylor College of Medicine affiliated hospitals, Texas Medical Center, Houston, Texas.

Dr. VanDolah is board certified in diagnostic radiology and a member of the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America. He has more than 35 years experience in radiology and has been on the staff of John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital since 1976, first affiliated with Valley Radiologists, Ltd. He is interested in all aspects of diagnostic radiology particularly neuroradiology and musculoskeletal MRI.

Jeffrey H. Watters, MD

Jeffrey H. Watters, MD - 4699

Dr. Watters graduated from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Watters served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps at Fort Sill, Okla. He then joined a private practice of diagnostic radiology in Des Moines, Iowa, practicing there for 25 years. He made Phoenix his home in 2001, and has continued to practice radiology here ever since.
