Paul J. Kelley, MD provides personalized acute and preventative health care to his patients, as well as comprehensive medical services to those with complex health challenges.

Dr. Kelley is a 1983 graduate of University of Iowa College of Medicine, Iowa City, Iowa. After completing his internship at Maricopa Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona in 1984, he worked at various urgent care and emergency rooms throughout the state. He completed his family medicine residency at Phoenix Baptist Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona in 1992.

Dr. Kelley is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He has been partner at Squaw Peak Family Medicine since 1994.

Dr. Kelley's hobbies include exploring Arizona's designated wilderness areas, hiking, fitness and horticulture.

Patrick M. Knowles, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota North Memorial Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Family Practice.

Dr. Knowles has been in practice for more than 10 years and is currently accepting new patients at our Sun Valley Family Medicine location.

Prior to relocating to the Valley, Dr. Knowles was a partner/owner of a practice in Edina, Minnesota. He concentrated his practice on performing cardiac testing.

As a veteran, Dr. Knowles served with the United States Marine Corps as a Naval Hospital Corpsman.

Cathy Guinan, FNP has more than 20 years of U.S. and international health care experience as a nurse, nurse practitioner, consultant, and director of a hospital nursing department.

Prior to joining Squaw Peak Family Physicians, Ms. Guinan focused on improving patient outcomes as a nurse leader, participating as a member of three Phoenix-area hospital ethics committees and institutional review boards.

Further, Ms. Guinan served as director of the 400-person nursing department of Dar Al Fouad Hospital, in Cairo, Egypt. There, she led Dar Al Fouad's successful effort to preserve its place as Africa's only Joint Commission International-accredited hospital.

Ms. Guinan holds a family nurse practitioner master of science degree. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed as a family nurse practitioner by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.

A native of Arizona, Ms. Guinan enjoys treating patients of all ages.

A family nurse practitioner for more than 20 years, Dana Wasserman, NP provides comprehensive health care to patients of all ages. She is certified by the American Board of Nursing Specialties and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Ms. Wasserman has extensive experience with the Peace Corps. As a Peace Corps volunteer in Africa, Ms. Wasserman provided health care services and health education, publishing a number of teaching aids and manuals. She also has served as a Peace Corps medical officer in Africa and as a medical attaché for U.S. embassies in Africa and Mexico.

Since settling in Phoenix in 1996, Ms. Wasserman has specialized in family, employee and occupational health. Her experience also includes work in public and women's health in Florida.
