Dr. Mifflin is a 2001 graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She completed her family practice residency training at Tempe St. Luke's Hospital in Tempe, Arizona.

Dr. Mifflin is board certified in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulation by the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners (ACOFP). She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners, American Medical Women's Association and Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association.
