Robert J. Allen, MD

Dr. Allen received his medical degree and completed his internship and residency in British Columbia, Canada. His board certifications are numerous, including the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the American Board of Family Practice and the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He is a fellow with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

Dr. Allen began his private practice in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1974. He continued practicing family medicine in Arizona after moving here in 1987.

Dr. Allen was on staff at Gavilan Peak Family Practice for four years, beginning in July 2006. He returned to Canada in July 2010, then rejoined Gavilan Peak in November 2011. He is accepting new patients as well as returning patients.

John P. Deuel, DO

John P. Deuel, DO

Dr. Deuel received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. He completed his residency at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center, Johnson City, NY, in 1998.

His professional experience includes practicing in Pennysylvania, New York, Korea and Arizona. He holds board certifications with the National Board of Osteopathic Examiners and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Deuel is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He is licensed in New York and Arizona.

Dr. Deuel joined Gavilan Peak Family Practice in May 2011, and welcomes new patients.

Emily A. Winett, MD

Emily A. Winett, MD

Dr. Winett received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed an integrated residency in OB/Gyn in October 2001 and a residency in family medicine in March 2007.

Dr. Winett's professional experience includes urgent care and family medicine. She has been board certified in family medicine since 2007. She holds an Arizona state medical license.

Dr. Winett joined Gavilan Peak Family Practice in November 2011. She welcomes new patients.
