Full-day kindergarten at Lincoln Learning Center is open to the community. More than 91 percent of the preschool children who go through our program meet key developmental milestones before entering their first year of grade school. In addition, our preschoolers typically score higher than the national average for reading readiness by the time they enter grade school.
Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Lincoln Learning Center supports the characteristics of high quality that are outlined by the NAEYC Academy of Early Childhood Programs.
Full-day kindergarten with before and after school care is open from 5:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Kindergarten classroom time is 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with before and after school wrap around care.
Tuition includes:
- Breakfast, lunch and snacks.
- Harcourt and Handwriting Without Tears Curriculum.
- Spanish and American sign language.
- Physical fitness.
- Onsite RN who is one of the first Early Childhood Nurse Consultants in the state.
Other accommodations:
- Small class size with only 14 seats available.
- State certified teachers with bachelor's degrees and a background in early childhood education.
- A password protected security system for entry and exit of the facility.
- Lincoln Learning Center has a contract with the Child Adult Care Food Program to ensure healthy meals. Meals are prepared by professional Food Services staff.
- We follow the Washington Elementary School District calendar.
