Alcatraz Swim to Raise Funds to Help Kids Whose Moms Have Breast Cancer

Phoenix middle schooler Sean Gage is seeking sponsors for his second swim in the Sharkfest Swim from Alcatraz. He's raising funds to support the John C. Lincoln Breast Health and Research Center's Coping Kids Camp, designed for other kids whose moms have breast cancer.
Desert Mission Food Bank Awarded $100,000 Grant

A grant of $100,000 has been awarded to the Desert Mission Food Bank by the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust. These funds will be used to purchase a new refrigerated truck for the procurement and distribution of perishable and non-perishable food.
