Patients with questions can reach a patient advocate at 602-331-7831.

When a referral to a surgeon is requested, a patient advocate will guide you through John C. Lincoln's Program for Robotic and Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery. They have access to some of the Valley's most qualified general surgeons with extensive experience performing procedures using the da Vinci Si Robotic Surgery System or SILSTM System.

Our program provides many special services. If you are traveling from outside Phoenix, we will provide preferential treatment in scheduling times to compensate for drive time and, if the procedure allows, your return travel the same day. For those who must stay overnight in the Phoenix area to remain with loved ones in the hospital, John C. Lincoln has negotiated discounted rates with various nearby hotels. See our list of participating nearby hotels.

To help you find your way to and around John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital, detailed written instructions and a custom map will be provided. See a campus map of North Mountain Hospital.

What to Expect

Three phone calls from John C. Lincoln.

1. After your surgeon has scheduled your procedure with us, your patient advocate will call you to introduce themselves, review the Program for Robotic and Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery with you, and talk about any special accommodations that you may need.

2. You will receive a call about two or three days before your procedure from our pre-admission nurse who will ask questions about your health history.

3. Another call will come from our registration department to make sure the insurance information we received from your surgeon is correct. This is important to make sure no surprises are encountered after you arrive.

What happens the day of your procedure?

Once you arrive, enter through the main hospital entrance. At the information desk one of our friendly volunteers will help you find your way to Admissions. Your volunteer patient advocate will meet you there to walk to your destination(s).

Your patient advocate also will stay in touch with you and your family members to provide timely updates, answer any questions and help with any unexpected needs that may rise.
