As a children's emergency center located at John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital, Mendy's Place cares for our youngest patients.
Mendy's Place is the only 24/7 pediatric emergency center staffed with pediatric specialists including a Child Life Specialist. Parents of the children we serve have repeatedly ranked our center in the top 1 percent nationally for patient satisfaction.
Ready to treat a wide variety of injuries and illnesses, the center features child-size medical equipment and furniture, along with brightly colored decor.
An expanded waiting area — with cheerful murals that include a life-sized three-dimensional tree — is a welcoming place for patients when they arrive. Another highlight of the center is that none of the beds are separated by curtains. All 12 rooms are private.
