The Breast Cancer Support Group
Co-sponsored by John C. Lincoln and The Wellness Community, The Breast Cancer Support Group is designed to help newly diagnosed breast cancer patients navigate their journey back to health. The support group meets weekly from 6-8 p.m. every Thursday.
- On the first Thursday each month, a special exercise program for breast cancer patients is offered.
- On the second and fourth Thursdays, regular support group programs are held. Patients can discuss their challenges, learn from each other and get support for their battle against cancer.
- On the third Thursday, programs alternate between music and relaxation therapies and nutrition and cooking programs, all of which are designed to help fight breast cancer.
Specialized Breast Cancer Support Groups
In addition to main support group activities sponsored by the John C. Lincoln and Wellness Community, two other support groups for breast cancer patients with specialized needs convene every month at the Breast Health and Research Center.
