The John C. Lincoln Health Auxiliary - North Mountain contributes to the Network in many ways. Funds provided by the North Mountain campus gift shops, thrift shop and other fund-raising projects are donated to the Network each year to help provide additional services and equipment for patients and the community. Auxiliary member assistance is needed in the following areas on the North Mountain campus:
Chapel
Assist auxiliary chairman with special services. Escort Adult Day Health Care participants to service and provide organ music.
Gift Shop
Serve as sales clerk responsible for assisting visitors, employees and patients with purchases. Operate cash register. Assist with jewelry, scrub and special trunk sales.
Auxiliary Puppet Committee
Meets monthly to sew hand puppets. Puppets are given to children receiving treatment at the hospital or those spending time in our various waiting areas. Some work can be done from home. Coordination of chairman required.
Treasure Trove Thrift Shop
Receive, sort, price and sell merchandise that is donated to the auxiliary, including clothing and small appliances.
PhoneLinc
Free telephone reassurance service provided by Auxiliary members to registered participants, primarily people who live alone.
Scholarship Committee
Receives applications from students accepted in health care program in schools within the state of Arizona.
Other Events
Assistance needed at bake sales, craft sales, raffles, holiday basket sales and used book sales throughout the year.
Auxiliary Money Counters
Assist the treasurers with counting, documenting and tracking money received by the various fund-raising entities of our Auxiliary (training required).
Cardiac Pillow Committee
Assist the chairman in creating pillows to be given to open-heart surgery patients. Some tasks can be accomplished from home (training required).
Bake Sale Committee
Create homemade goodies for periodic bake sales; help at the sale on the day of the event.
Tours
Hospital Tour Committee: Provide tours of hospital or campus.
