At John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital, providing our patients with the highest quality of care is always our number one priority. But we also recognize how difficult it can be for family and friends to have a loved one in the hospital. That is why we make every effort to make sure our guests and visitors are comfortable by offering many amenities that make coming to John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital a little more pleasant.
Visiting Hours
At John C. Lincoln, patients have the right to receive any visitor whom he or she designates at any time.
Visitors can be a spouse, a domestic partner, another family member or friend, and patients also have the right to withdraw consent to visit at any time.
Parking
Various parking lots and roads may be temporarily closed because of construction projects on the campus of John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. In order to better serve you, free valet parking is available at the hospital's front entrance from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Smoking, Tobacco Products Prohibited
As of Sept. 1, 2010, John C. Lincoln Health Network is tobacco-free. No tobacco or smoking products are permitted on any of the Network's properties inside and outside, including parking areas. The policy affects all patients, visitors, physicians and employees. Learn more about this policy.
Translation Services
Language is not a barrier to receiving quality care, so we provide a service called the Language Line. We also have Spanish Language translators available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A TDD line is also available for the hearing imparied. If you or a family member would like to use these services during your stay, please ask your nurse.
Chapel
Located off the main hospital lobby just north of the cafeteria, the chapel offers a place for quiet reflection and services every third Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. The chapel is always open to our patients, guests and visitors.
Gift Shop
North Mountain Hospital's Gift Shop is well stocked with a vast array of affordably priced gifts and personal items, everything from greeting cards to clothing and flowers to gum. It is located in the main lobby and is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. You are welcome to visit the Gift Shop in person, place an order online or call 602-870-6060 x1230 during the above hours.
Cafeteria and Coffee Shop
The cafeteria is located just east of the hospital's main lobby. In addition to a full salad bar, the cafeteria also offers a deli bar, frozen yogurt, a selection of nutritious on-the-go snack items, and a choice of hot entrees each day. Hours are 7 to 10 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 5 to 10 p.m. and midnight to 3 a.m., Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, the cafeteria is open from 6 to 10 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 5 to 7:30 p.m. and midnight to 3 a.m.
Want a made-to-order omelet? Maybe a burger and fries? Try the Kettle Hut Coffee Shop located just south of the main lobby of the hospital. Hours are from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to midnight Monday through Friday. Food and beverage machines are located just south of the main lobby of the hospital as well.
Security
To ensure a safe environment, security officers patrol the entire hospital, 24 hours a day. A security escort is available 24 hours a day to take you to your car. Simply dial 0 from a hospital phone to request an escort or security assistance.
Mail
Stamps may be purchased in the gift shop, and a mailbox is located on the west side of Third Street, about two blocks north of Dunlap Avenue.
