The Day of Surgery at North Mountain Hospital

Upon arriving at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital, please enter through the main lobby. Check in at the Admitting office, which is located on the first floor, near the Kettle Hut coffee shop.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany a minor child who is scheduled for surgery.
You will be asked to sign a surgical permit before going into surgery. Minor children must have their surgical permit signed by their parents or legal guardians. To facilitate the processing of paperwork, please bring your insurance card with you.
Occasionally, there may be a change in the time of surgery. We apologize for any inconvenience and will try to minimize delays. Please do not worry if a delay takes place. A nurse will keep you informed.
After surgery, you will be taken to the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (recovery room), where you will remain for approximately one hour.
