The Day of Surgery at John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital

Upon arriving at John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital, please enter through the main lobby. Check in at the Admitting office, which is located on the first floor.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany a minor child who is scheduled for surgery.
You will be asked to sign a surgical permit before going into surgery. Minor children must have their surgical permit signed by their parents or legal guardians. To facilitate the processing of paperwork, please bring your insurance card with you.
Occasionally, there may be a change in the time of surgery. We apologize for any inconvenience and will try to minimize delays. Please do not worry if a delay takes place. A nurse will keep you informed.
If on the day of your surgery you are running late or need to cancel, please call Pre-Op at 623-879-5230.
After surgery, you will be taken to the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (recovery room), where you will remain for approximately one hour.
