Generous golfers and sponsors raised $150,000 for John C. Lincoln's many Desert Mission community service programs on Sept. 14, 2012, at the 26th annual Lincoln Guild Invitational golf tournament.
John C. Lincoln Health Foundation's Guild, a group of community ambassadors and business leaders who philanthropically support the John C. Lincoln Health Network, hosted the event, which was held at the Wildfire Golf Club in Desert Ridge. Mike Stanley, chief executive officer of EB Endeavors, LLC, and Larry Gassner, MD, an internal medicine specialist, co-chaired the event. Both are members of the John C. Lincoln Health Network Board of Directors.
Over the past decade, supporters of the Lincoln Guild Invitational have raised more than $1.5 million for Desert Mission programs, which include emergency food, affordable health and dental care, counseling services and high-quality child care for low income families in our community.
Many generous donors supported this year's event. Presenting sponsors included Ventas and W.D. Manor Mechanical Contractors.
