Short-Term Volunteer Opportunities
The following is a list of our short-term volunteer opportunities, which are available at both of our hospital campuses unless specifically noted otherwise. If a position listed below matches your interests, we invite you to complete our interest form.
Team activities
Assist with special events or serve on short-term teams related to the development and enhancement of the volunteer program.
Create greeting cards for patients
Fun project for groups of 5 to 20. In two to four hours, your group can add a personal touch to the hospital stay of many patients. No artistic talent required. Supplies can be provided, or your group can help extend this project by providing supplies. Advance notice is required to arrange this activity.
Collection Drives
Make a difference in the lives of our patients by collecting items and donating them to the hospital. We often need:
- new or used books
- magazines
- books on tape
- cassette players
- puzzle books
- playing cards
- card games
- games
- new, unused personal hygiene sample sizes
- reading glasses
- toys
- stuffed animals
- children's books
