Financial Assistance Options

Several options may be available to help uninsured patients meet their financial obligations if circumstances make it difficult for them to pay their hospital bill. These options include:

AHCCCS

The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) is the state Medicaid program that provides medical coverage for uninsured or underinsured residents who meet certain income criteria. Eligibility is determined by the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES). To locate the DES office closest to your home, please visit the AHCCCS website.

SOBRA, Medicaid

These federal programs provide medical coverage for eligible, uninsured residents.

Hospital Financial Assistance

As a community service to our patients, John C. Lincoln Health Network offers discounts to self-pay patients who do not have insurance.

Uninsured patients who are not eligible for other financial assistance, or those with a remaining self-pay obligation that is beyond their means, may be eligible for financial assistance provided by the hospital. This includes basic financial assistance and financial assistance due to financial hardship and/or compassionate circumstances.
