Using $330,000 raised from this year’s record-setting Night of Gold Ball plus funding from its endowment income, the John C. Lincoln Health Foundation’s Guild is funding grants totaling $387,205 for programs and services throughout the Network.
Nineteen grants were funded, including:
- Portable ultrasound machine for John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital—$30,000
- OB simulator mannequin for John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital—$20,000
- Wound Clinic for John C. Lincoln Health Network—$28,000
- Desert Mission weekend Snac Pacs for nutritionally-deprived area schoolchildren—$40,000
The Guild, a volunteer arm of the Foundation dedicated to philanthropic opportunities for the Network, is responsible for the Night of Gold Ball and the Lincoln Guild Invitational Golf Tournament.
The Guild has donated more than $2.8 million to John C. Lincoln Hospitals and community programs since its inception in 1986 through its Guild GOLD (Giving Others the Lincoln Difference) program.
“We at the Foundation appreciate your contributions which ensure the success of the Guild’s special events,” says Foundation CEO Elaine Hugunin. “As a team, we are making a difference in the care of our patients and community!” |
