Safety and Security
at Lincoln Learning Center

Safety and Security

Electronic Sign-In System

At Lincoln Learning Center, your child's safety is important to us. Our center is equipped with a ProCare electronic sign-in system. All visitors to Lincoln Learning Center must wait in the lobby area until identified by a designated staff member as an "approved" visitor. A password-protected locked inner security door separates the front office from the rest of the center, and a daily record is kept of all visitors.

Full-Time RN

We have an RN available at our school full time as well as a part-time child care health consultant. If your child requires medication, our nurse is available to administer it and monitor your child's health. Although, we do not provide care for mildly ill children.

Staff Chosen with Care

Each staff member at Lincoln Learning Center is chosen with care. Each is carefully screened and fingerprinted. While our staff members come from a rich diversity of backgrounds, they share a commitment to providing a loving, nurturing and secure environment.

Teaching Staff

All members of our teaching staff at Lincoln Learning Center are required to have current certifications in both CPR and Pediatric First Aid. In accordance with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) guidelines, our teachers and lead teachers have completed a minimum of 12 college credit hours of early childhood education. Our child-to-teacher ratio is lower than required by state.

Regulatory Compliance

Lincoln Learning Center is licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services, Office of Child Care Licensure.

Lincoln Learning Center has a contract with the Child Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), a federally funded program administered by the Arizona Department of Education to ensure children enjoy healthy meals and snacks. Food is prepared in our kitchen by our professional Food Services staff. We are a nut-free facility, and when special diets are recommended by a child's physician, we can accommodate those needs.
