Heart Care at John C. Lincoln
At John C. Lincoln Hospitals, we feel privileged to care for those who trust us. We are known for providing healing environments where patients and their families receive highly personal support and encouragement throughout all phases of heart care.
Top-Quality Care for Chest Pain
John C. Lincoln's two hospitals are now accredited Chest Pain Centers
Our approach to heart care blends innovative treatments with time-tested experience. Our surgeons were quick to adopt off-pump cardiac bypass surgery and the mini-maze surgical technique. Both procedures lead to reduced recovery times and fewer side effects.
Our hospitals also have recently started practicing induction of mild hypothermia in qualified patients during the first hours after cardiac arrest. Cooling the core body temperature to 89-95 degrees Fahrenheit has been shown to keep the brain stable and improve neurological recovery. The emergency therapy may also help preserve the heart and kidneys.
