Faculty and Staff


A team of experienced professionals comprises the John C. Lincoln Family Medicine Residency program. You will be supported by seven faculty members, fellow residents and office staff.

Stephen Williams, DO

A physician with 20 years of experience, Dr. Williams trains new family physicians as the Program Director of John C. Lincoln's Family Medicine Residency Program.

Since 1988, Dr. Williams has served as an emergency department, urgent care and family physician in private practice. He joined the residency program's faculty in 2003.

Dr. Williams earned his osteopathic degree from the Oklahoma College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. He is board-certified in family practice and has completed a fellowship in program directing.

Harold Schultz, DO

Howard Schultz, DO

Dr. Schultz is an Attending Physician in John C. Lincoln's Family Medicine Residency Program.

He graduated from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City in 1959 and was in private practice from 1960-1998 in Norwalk, Ohio. He later supervised interns and residents from Firelands Hospital in Sandusky, Ohio.

His experience includes all areas of practice from obstetrics to pediatrics, emergency medicine, surgery, internal medicine and psychiatry. Dr. Schultz is board certified in family medicine. He has been married to Dorothy since 1957 and has three grown children.

Tracy Middleton, DO

Tracy Middleton, DO

Dr. Middleton is an Attending Physician in John C. Lincoln’s Family Medicine Residency Program.

She has been with the residency program since 1999. Prior to that, she was in private practice in the Phoenix area for several years.

She is also currently the Chair and Associate Professor of Family Medicine at Midwestern University – Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and a level 2 review committee member with the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.

She graduated from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1988, completed her residency in Flint, Michigan, and is board certified in family medicine. She is married to an Osteopathic physician and they have 4 wonderful children.

Bill Dafnis, DO

Bill Dafnis, DO
Dr. Dafnis is an Attending Physician in John C. Lincoln's Family Medicine Residency Program. 
 
He graduated in 2001 from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in downtown Phoenix, AZ.

Lynn McDonald

Lynn McDonald is the Residency and Medical Education Coordinator for John C. Lincoln’s Family Medicine Residency Program.

He is the point person for all prospective, current and prior residents. Lynn schedules resident rotations, lectures and didactics, and tracks resident requirements. He helps graduates apply for licenses and often assists with credentialing.

Office Staff

All residents are supported by a clinical staff and nurses to assist with scheduling, treatment coding, insurance billing, medical records, referrals and patient care. Regina Ford, clinic office manager, oversees the clinic and ensures residents have the daily assistance they need during their patient clinic hours.
