Information for Referring Physicians
At Deer Valley Hospital, we understand the imaging needs of physicians. We make it easier to order imaging services and access results:
- On behalf of physicians, we obtain insurance authorization for patients. Call us at 623-879-5720 or send a fax to 623-879-5735 to start the process.
- Physicians can consult with a radiologist before ordering imaging. Call us—we’re available to you and your staff for phone consultation.
- Results within 24 hours are available through network-wide PACS (Picture and Archival and Communication System) and PowerScribe voice recognition system. PACS gives you immediate access to electronic images. Physicians on staff can view images of patients either at computer workstations in hospitals, or online through computers in their own practice offices.

The Diagnostic Imaging department at Deer Valley Hospital is located on the hospital's ground level.
It can be accessed through two entrances:
The main entrance: Walk forward through the lobby and turn left at the first hallway. Diagnostic Imaging will be the first waiting room on your right. You may also follow the signs that read "X-Ray."
The north entrance: Cross the bridge and enter through the north entrance's double doors. Diagnostic Imaging will be on your left. Abundant disabled parking is located near this entrance.
