About Our Birthing Center
At The Birthing Center at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital, we want the birth of your baby to be as safe, comfortable and meaningful as possible. Every mother-to-be has unique needs, so we offer options that allow you to choose the services and childbirth education classes that are right for you.
The Birthing Center offers spacious, private Labor-Delivery-Recovery (LDR) rooms featuring whirlpool tubs and calm, comfortable surroundings. Family and friends can be with you throughout the birthing process and, after your recovery period, you and your baby will be moved to a couplet room with no interruption of high-quality care. Within days after your little one arrives, you can choose to have your baby's photos online for family and friend viewing at the Growing Families WebNursery.
If complications arise, The Birthing Center is staffed and equipped to handle them. A separate birthing room is dedicated to complicated deliveries and Cesarean births. And for newborns who need a higher level of care, The Birthing Center's Level II Nursery is there to provide it.
In addition to outstanding facilities, The Birthing Center at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital offers a variety of classes for parents-to-be. You can select the ones that best fit your needs, from helping you eat and exercise properly to preparing older brothers and sisters for the arrival of the new baby.
