Helping Circle

Erin’s family was helped
by Marley House, inspiring
the following poem about
what it means to give
back to others. She posed for
this photograph in the aftermath
of the events surrounding
September 11, 2001.

Right now we live in poverty.

Right now people act and think negatively.

However, there are a few people who go out of their way to help someone.

The things they do are never completely done.

Instead of being negative and hateful, these people make someone else grateful.

And when they help someone, that someone tends to help someone too.

And before you know it someone's helping you.

So if we can make this helping circle last,
can you imagine how much better this world would get so fast?

Special thanks to anyone who has donated or helped those in need.

Especially anyone who has ever helped my family or me.
