In 2010, our not-for-profit health network had many highlights:
- Awards and accreditations included reaccreditation for Deer Valley Hospital as a Chest Pain Center with PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention, meaning angioplasty or stent placement) and two prestigious trauma awards for North Mountain Hospital.
- Our network encompassed 1,121 physicians and 3,912 employees. Our 1,897 volunteers provided 198,705 hours of service in our hospitals and Desert Mission programs.
- Deer Valley Hospital accommodated more than 45,000 inpatient days and more than 48,000 visits to its Emergency Department.
- North Mountain Hospital accommodated more than 70,000 inpatient days and provided trauma care to nearly 2,800 persons.
- Desert Mission Food Bank distributed more than 29,000 emergency food boxes to members of our community. Community Health Center treated nearly 1,800 patients.
- John C. Lincoln Health Foundation distributed nearly $3.3 million to John C. Lincoln programs and services and the community.
